Book Announcement: The Regenerative Organization Stories, Patterns, Practices and Spaces of Possibility
After two years of research and a year of writing, the time has come:
My book “The Regenerative Organization – Stories, Patterns, Practices and Spaces of Possibility” will be published in German language in October 2025 by Schäffer-Poeschel Publishing.
The manuscript is currently in the editing process – and I’m excited to share this next step with you.
It has been clear for a long time: the way we run businesses and engage in economic activity is no longer sustainable.
As part of a research project in collaboration with the Gilde for Agile Organizational Development, I have explored the world of regenerative organizations – uncovering the patterns and practices that make them unique.
Regenerative organizations go beyond sustainability:
They don’t just aim to minimize harm or maintain the status quo – they actively regenerate and restore.
They integrate regenerative economics with inner work and cultural development, and in doing so, they become pioneers of a future-ready way of working and organizing.
This book is written for:
Entrepreneurs and leaders who are seeking truly sustainable and regenerative models of organizing
Consultants and coaches who support organizations in their transformation processes
What you’ll find in this book:
An introduction to the research project, the structure of the book, and the distinction between sustainable and regenerative
Positive and personal stories from regenerative organizations
Recurring patterns observed across these organizations
Real-world practices
Approaches and methods for consultants and change facilitators
A final outlook and an invitation to join a growing regenerative movement
I truly believe: Even within the current economic system, regenerative practices are possible.
This book shows how – and why it’s worth taking that first step.
